Different with terminal 1 and 2 with its garden terminal concept, T3 is designed with concept of eco-friendly and modern terminal. T3 pier one is designed with transparent look surrounded by glass wall therefore sun ray easily irradiates inside the building; also passenger can enjoy the view outside the terminal. The interior of T3 is designed with minimalist concept and efficiency in room utilization. Thus, passenger can have quick service i.e. at counter check in and better baggage claim management.
T3 is build on area of 30.000 meter square and costs around Rp285 billion. According to the plan, T3 will have one main building and five piers, each pier can accommodate around 4 million passengers per year.
Every pier is developed as a modern village with mall nuance. For instance a meeting point so that passenger who’s already checked in but not yet board onto plane still can gather around with his/her companions. Further, every pier will be surrounded by tropical garden.
